Mahi (Fish)

Yields: 6 servings


8 tilapia fillets or white fish
1 cup all-purpose flour
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
½ cup oil


Dry the fish fillets with paper towels. Generously season both sides of the fish fillets with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place flour on a plate.

Heat oil in a large nonstick frying pan. Dredge the fish fillets in flour, shaking off excess flour then add to the pan. Fry for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Turn over and fry for 10 more minutes.

Place fried mahi on paper towel to drain excess oil. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over mahi, serve with sabzi polo.
